J2EE Architecture Consulting

Flecha Roja Technologies has extensive experience in architecting and developing large-scale Distributed Object (J2EE, RMI), Web Based (J2EE), and Client-Server (Java) solutions and the integration of these solutions with existing applications. We have also been involved in the development of Mobile Applications on the J2ME platform.

Our engagements have included:

Mentoring teams in building EJB compliant applications.
Leading architecture teams in the development of middleware frameworks used within Application Servers like Oracle 9IAS, Oracle 10G and Jaguar (Sybase EAS)
Developing deployment strategies for large-scale projects.
Mentoring teams in object oriented analysis/programming and design.
Mentoring teams in the application of Analysis and Design Patterns.
Integrate the systems with existing company Applications.
Using UML to document and describe the object models used.
Using XML to integrate applications running on different platforms.
Developing migration strategies and managment of Oracle Collaboration Suite 9.0.4

The J2EE systems that we developed were based on best practices used in Sun's J2EE Blueprints application and also the best J2EE patterns.

Expertise in use of Iterative and Incremental Development Processes, Object-Relational Mapping techniques, Object-Relational Mapping tools is critical in the development of large-scale applications.

With our experience in the use of the following tools and practices, we can help you deliver a cost effective J2EE solution.

Apache Struts (Open Source MVC framework)
Apache OJB (Object Relational Mapping Tools)
Apache Velocity (Open Source Template Engine)
Extreme Programming

Consistent focus on widely-used and accepted open technologies and specifications ensures Flecha Roja Tech. software remains virtually platform independent. Therefore there is no absolute requirement to use a particular J2EE container (i.e. Tomcat, JBoss , et al.), which can be treated as interchangeable components.

In terms of database systems, we also follows a project implementation stragegy that favors a platform independent solution whenever possible and reasonable for the given environment.
